Take the 1915 Canakkale Bridge to Lapseki and continue to Canakkale. **406 km drive
Istanbul - Tekirdağ - Gelibolu (Gallipoli) - Eceabat
Take a ferry across to Çanakkale from Eceabat or from Gelibolu to Lapseki. Ferries leave frequently.
Çanakkale - Ezine - Ayvacık - Assos (Behramkale) **Total 430 km drive
Istanbul - Bursa - Balıkesir - Edremit - Assos
By IDO ferry - car;
Take IDO fast ferry from Yenikapı, Istanbul across Bandırma, Balıkesir. It takes 1 hour and 45 minutes. (www.ido.com.tr/en)
Bandırma - Biga - Çan - Bayramiç - Ezine - Ayvacık - Assos (Behramkale) **225 km drive
There are 2 airports close to Assos. Edremit Airport (75 km) and Çanakkale Airport (95 km).
From the airports you can either take buses to Ayvacık or Assos, or let us help you with arranging transfers.
Borajet Airlines, Anadolujet Airlines and Pegasus Airlines, from Istanbul to Balıkesir Koca Seyit Airport (EDO). Borajet has free transfer service to Ayvacık (17km to Assos).

Most of the bus companies arrive to Ayvacik (17 km to Assos Nar Konak). From Ayvacık, there are minibuses to Behramkale.
